Why Domestic Violence Perpetrators Are Cowards

They never pick on someone in their weight class

Domestic violence offenders harm those who are dependent upon them or are physically weaker than them. Like all bullies, they are cowards that pick on people who cannot stand up against them, but they never challenge someone who can put them in their place.

They act tough, but in reality, they are mentally fragile. Instead of facing who or what is frustrating them in life, they take their frustrations out on their spouse and kids.

They don’t dare to look at the real source of their unhappiness: Themselves.

“Cowardice rightly understood begins with selfishness and ends with shame.” ― José Rizal
